HANOVER - The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2506 proudly presented $1,100 in awards as it named the local winner of its 2023-2024 Patriot’s Pen youth scholarship competitions.
This year’s local winner was announced at the 2024 Post 2506 Children’s Easter Party in Hanover, PA.
VFW Post 2506 Commander Wes Hickman was joined by VFW Post 2506 Auxiliary President Rose Rollins to present this year’s local Patriot’s Pen winner, Gage Rollins, with a monetary award of $1,100 and a certificate for his winning essay on this year's theme, "How Are You Inspired by America?".
